Features
The Briggs & Stratton 342 cc Polar Force Snow engine is designed for hard and heavy homeowner use, and all commercial applications. and has easy starting in harsh winters and snowstorms. It features a freeze-resistant recoil starter with a mitten grip handle for use with heavy gloves on, even for the coldest days.
A larger displacement and more horse power moves heavier snow with less effort than the 900 series engine.
A large, bright halogen headlight is built into the snow blower to provide light over a large area. Great for using your machine after dark or early in the morning.
It also protects you by helping other vehicles in the area to be aware of your presence.
The all steel chute construction is strong and durable - it has to be because you are going to be moving a lot of snow!
Specially designed, the reinforced and smoothed steel also helps to throw the snow more accurately and further than polymer, fiberglass, or plastic chutes. It's also the tallest chute in its class, meaning less snow blowback and more even snow distribution.
With an easy to use lever, you can move the snow chute 200 degrees, side to side, with just one finger. No more cranking levers!
All snow thrower controls are right there in front of you. You never have to move!
Control the auger, the snow blowers ground speed, the brakes, the chute rotation, the deflector control, and the hand warmers.
Keep your hands warm and toasty even on the coldest days and the most brutal snow storms. Both handles provide an amazing amount of heat and can be turned on or off with a switch.
The 14 inch, serrated auger digs up, chews up, and forces out compacted snow into the impeller and out the chute. The serrated blades also cuts through ice and crusted snow as if it were nothing.
The Deluxe series features a larger auger than the Compact series. Larger augers throw more snow, heavier snow, and more compacted snow even further.
The XS Aluminum gear case provides more power to turn the augers, meaning more snow removal. The XS gear case also is more durable than standard aluminum.
Two 15 inch x 5 inch directional snow tread tires provide exceptional tracking on all surfaces and virtually eliminate the need for tire chains.
With the automatic traction control, just start to turn your snow blower, and it turns for you! No levers to squeeze! Make a 180 degree turn in 1 second with little to no effort.
Reversible skid shoes guide the snow blower along the surface. When they wear out, simply turn them around and use the other side!
Included with the Platinum 30 is a snow clean out tool. This handy tool clips onto the mount which is on the housing and lets you dig out wet and compacted snow that may build up inside the chute.
Available Accessories
These durable polyethylene composite skid shoes protect the fragile or decorative surfaces around your home. These reversible shoes won't leave paint behind, won't scratch, chip, dent or mark your driveway, walkway, and patio.
Once installed, the front weight kit adds extra weight to the front of your snow blower to give you more control when blowing snow. Great for snowfalls of 12 inches or more, or large inclines.
Replace your standard clean out tool with an updated tool that has a snow brush. Brush the snow off of your machine without harming the paint.
Store your Snow Blower on a rubber floor mat for extra protection during storage. Over time, moisture from concrete, asphalt, or wood floors slowly eat away at the snow blower's housing, scraper blade, and skid shoes.
Provides an extra layer of protection for your snow blower when it's not in use. It's waterproof, washable, and tear-resistant.
The Melt Buddy mounts onto your snow blower to spread sand, salt, or ice melt onto driveways, walkways, or parking lots. Essentially, it's a spreader made more compact that attaches to your machine. An easy to operate trigger lets you spread only where you want to.
Spray this onto your snow blower to prevent snow from sticking to your snow blower and clogging the chute. This can be sprayed on shovels and other equipment as well.
For snowfalls over 21 inches, for wind-blown snow drifts, or for packed-in snow, these drift cutters cut tall and packed snow down and direct it straight into the auger. Installs on and off with no tools, just plastic wing nuts.
Protect your head, hands, face, and torso from heavy snow fall, cold winds, and snow blowback. It has extra room, a steel frame and good line of sight.
