Why do I need the model/serial
number of my machine?
In order for
us to look up parts in our
database, we need to know the
model and serial number of your
machine. We can't look up parts
by just knowing that it is a
"Toro tractor" or a
"red mower" because there are
hundreds of different types of
Toro tractors and a thousand
different red mowers.

in some cases, the year it was
made, where it was made, and by

How do I find the model & serial
Different manufacturers place
models and serial numbers in
different places. The best way
to find your model and serial
number is to find your owners
manual as it is usually written
in there or tells you exactly
where to look. It's also a good
idea to write down your numbers
in your owners manual as soon as
you purchase your machine. This

usually printed on a sticker or
stamped on a metal tag and
placed on the machine somewhere.
Some possible and common places
to look on walk mowers are under

My part is on backorder. What
does that mean?
We order our
parts from a distributor. The
distributor gets those parts
from the brand manufacturer's factory. A backordered
part is when the distributor
does not have that part in their
stock. It could also mean the
the factory does or does not have any

usually take a couple extra days to
