Pickup & Delivery Times
Pickup and delivery service is offered to most addresses in the New Haven County Area and some to the Fairfield County Area. They are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. To find out if we offer this service in your city or town, click here.
Generally, Pickups made to Orange, Milford and West Haven are scheduled for Saturdays anywhere in between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Other towns and cities are scheduled during weekdays and are usually between 3:00pm and 5:30pm.
Deliveries are made once your machine(s) are completed. Deliveries to Orange, Milford and West Haven are generally made on Saturdays. If these times are no good for you, please inform us when you are scheduling your pickup.
As you schedule a pickup, please do your best to remember the date so that you can either be home when the driver gets there, or leave the machine where the driver can get to it. We ask that you please have your machine accessible to us and not buried or piled high with personal belongings.
If you cannot be home during the day of pickup, you can leave the machine where the driver can gain access to it. If this cannot be done or if you do not feel safe doing this, please call 203-799-2592 to re-schedule to a different date.
To make things easier for our drivers, please inform us of any known problems with the machine. For example, if you know that the battery is dead or if you know it has a flat tire, let us know so that we can bring the proper tools for the job.
Pickup & Delivery Rates & Options
Knight's offers 3 pickup & delivery options:
1) Pickup & Delivery. This rate is for a round trip pickup and delivery service. We pick up your equipment from your home, bring it to Knight's Inc. for work, and once it's complete, we deliver it back to your home. Rates are based on distance of our location in Orange to your town.
2) Pickup or Delivery. This rate is for a one time stop at your house. We either pick up your equipment from your home and you pick it up when it's done, or you drop your equipment off to us and we'll deliver it when it's done.
3) Service Call. This rate is for a one time stop at your house where we attempt to fix a minor problem. The service call rate includes the time and labor of the driver to fix or diagnose what is wrong with your machine. The service call charge will only be dropped if we cannot fix the problem and you choose to have the pickup and delivery service applied.
Please note: we cannot perform tune-ups or major repairs at service calls. The driver does not carry any parts, hardware, accessories or special tools.

Our rates are billed for a stop to your house, not for the number of machines being picked up. For example, a request for pickup & delivery to a home Milford is $50.00. No matter if we pick up one machine at that house or six machines at that house, the price would still be $50.00. We can pick up as many machines as you would like.
Billings & Payments
Pickup and delivery charges are listed as a separate line on your bill. The driver will leave your bill with your machine once it is delivered. If it is raining, the driver may leave the bill inside your mailbox.
There are several different ways to pay.
1) You can pay the driver with cash or a check.
If paying with cash, please have the exact amount on hand as the driver does not carry any change.
If paying with a check, please make the check out to "Knight's Inc." and list your telephone number or your Knight's account number if you have one memo section of the check. The driver will mark "paid" on your bill.
2) You can mail a check to us. Please make the check out to "Knight's Inc." and list your telephone number or your Knight's account number if you have one, on the memo section of the check. Send the check to:
2) We accept payments over the phone using your Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards. Please have your 16 digit account number, your 3 digit CVV2 number (located on the back of the card), your billing address number or PO Box number, and the zip code listed on your monthly statement.
4) You can come down to us and pay the bill in person. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Debt/ATM cards.

Plan ahead, be ready, and be prepared
We always encourage people to have their machines fixed and tuned-up before they are needed. Fixing your machine in the off-season is not only cheaper, but the availability of parts is better, the wait times are shorter and when the season finally comes, you'll have the peace of mind knowing that you're all ready to go.
Our busy season consists of the spring and early summer months. During this time we are often unable pickup snow throwers due to storage limitations. Please plan for this accordingly.
Also, for Locke mowers or any manual push mowers with blade reels that need manual sharpening, please be aware that reels are only sharpened in the month of January.
Remember, don't wait until the last minute to call us! Spring and summer between April and June are our busiest times. Machines may take as many as three weeks to repair due to the sheer volume of equipment we take in. It may be even longer if parts need to be ordered. By having your machine picked up in the off season, you will have it back and ready to go before you need it!
