The Briggs & Stratton® 900 series OHV 4-cycle snow engine provides 205cc power and performance in tough winter conditions. The 9.0 lbs of gross torque is enough power to handle the heaviest and wettest snowfalls. The 900 series snow engine comes standard with electric start as well as convenient features that include a fuel shut-off valve and extended oil drain for easy oil changes.

For easy starts on the coldest days, each Toro two-stage snow thrower comes equipped with both electric start and a recoil mitten grip start for added peace of mind. Just plug a household extension cord into your snow thrower, plug the other end into an electrical outlet, and push to button.

The Power Max auger system meters snow intake to prevent plugging. Snow that is not immediately thrown is returned back into the auger for more chopping and grinding. The non-stick surface of the rugged impeller housing cover minimizes snow build up. The Power Max auger has a 5-year warranty.

Located at the operator's position on the dash panel, the Quick Stick controls both the rotation of the discharge chute and the up and down movement of the deflector chute.

The discharge chute and deflector are made out of rugged high density polyethylene that offers maximum performance in cold, snowy conditions. Polyethylene is durable, yet lightweight, flexible, and never dusts. It also naturally prevents snow and ice from sticking inside of it. The discharge chute is backed by a 5-year warranty.

Hold down the right handle (auger control), hold down the left handle (wheel speed), and release the right handle and it automatically stays down! Just release the left handle to unlock. This frees up your right hand to control the discharge chute position without the need to stop.
